THIS WEB-SITE IS THE OFFICIAL WRITTEN VOICE OF THE WBTC AMATEUR RADIO GROUP

The Wasatch Back Tri County Amateur Radio Group consists of Ham Radio Operators and Support Operators mostly residing in three neighboring rural northern Utah counties of  Wasatch, Summit and Morgan.  All three counties are located in valleys east of the north south running Wasatch Mountain Range called the Wasatch Back.  West of the Wasatch Range  is commonly referred to as the "Wasatch Front", where the population centers of Utah are located.  Members get together to enjoy and share the multi-facets of Amateur Radio, also known as "Ham Radio", as well as prepare for and provide emergency communications in the tri-county area.

A weekly Net is conducted every Thursday at 2100 hours local time, on the 147,360 kHz repeater, located on Lewis Peak, Summit County.  The repeater has a +600 kHz offset with a 100Hz PL Tone.  Each County AR Group rotates monthly in directing The Net.

There are three Group Eyeballs (meetings) held during the year; Winter, Spring/Summer, and Fall.  Again, each County AR Group rotates in hosting an Eyeball.

Most Group Members reside in one of the three Wasatch Back counties. However, membership is not limited to residents of Wasatch, Summit, nor Morgan Counties.  All Hams within range of the Lewis Peak repeater (147,360 kHz) are welcome to join our nets and participate in other Group activities.

This Web Site is Amateur Radio in nature and is meant to furnish Members with information concerning the hobby and Group Activities.

All participating Members are welcome to provide input.
